Questions people ask
Do all Catholic high schools use the HSPT?
No. Many do, and some dioceses require it of every applicant, but others use the ISEE, the SSAT, the TACHS (in New York) or their own exam. Check each school's admissions page.
When do schools give the HSPT?
Each school or diocese sets its own date, usually between November and January of 8th grade. The school's admissions page has the date and how to register.
Why is my school not on this list?
We list a school only when its diocese or its own admissions page says it uses the HSPT, and we have checked 29 so far. A school missing here may still use it: ask the school.
